Master of Divinity (MDiv)
Our Master of Divinity (MDiv) program is ideal for anyone planning to enter Christian ministerial leadership of a congregation or for church leadership more broadly.
Designed to develop spiritually mature, Spirit-led leaders, the program includes attention to a student’s growth in theological discernment and competency in ministry, as well as the development of character, sense of call, ministerial identity and spiritual depth, and commitment to service in the name of Christ.
Complete your degree on campus or from a distance!
You can complete your MDiv either through the Master of Divinity Campus program or the distance-friendly Master of Divinity Connect program.
Both MDiv Connect students and MDiv Campus students can major in Pastoral Ministry, Chaplaincy, and Christian Faith Formation. At this time, only MDiv Campus students can major in Theological Studies.

Why seminary?

“I am so grateful for my time at AMBS. I have been challenged to grow intellectually, emotionally and spiritually in a supportive and caring learning community. In this time, I have grown into a deeper understanding of my vocational calling. As a result, my work in spiritual care is firmly grounded in my Anabaptist tradition, while it is in a diverse healthcare setting.”
